1.Can I continue with my expert life, or I should take a break?

Pregnancy and your expert life can go together. I advise all my patients to continue with their work till 3rd trimester of Pregnancy, unless advised otherwise by your Doctor. Being taken part in work, and conference people professionally and socially will decrease your stress levels.

2.Is it safe to travel during Pregnancy?

You can securely travel throughout your Pregnancy till 3rd trimester (30 weeks of Pregnancy); unless advised otherwise due to high risk Pregnancy.

Strolling is normally recommended at all phases. Your Gynecologist might also advise on particular Pelvic exercises to improve opportunities of Normal Delivery.

3.Tips that can help me stay comfy during Office Work?

• Take short walk after every 2-3 hrly.

• Drink Plenty of Water.

• Take Small treats to prevent hypoglycemia- Fresh Fruits/ Dry Fruits.

• Avoid consumption of Tea/ Coffee/ Aerated beverages- Replace it with Coconut water/ Fresh Juice.

• Frequently change your sitting position.

• Antacids/ Anti-Emetic medications should be kept convenient (as prescribed by your Doctor).

• Wear Comfortable loose clothing- Opt for Maternity Pants.

• Stay away from Active & Passive Smoking; and Alcoholic beverages.

Tips for a Normal Pregnancy Outcome.

" It's a MYTH that you need to consume for TWO during Pregnancy.
Instead, you need to think about consuming TWICE as Healthy. ".

CALORIE INTAKE: The common requirement during Pregnancy is 300- 400 Kcal per day over & & above your regular intake. Daily calorie count must be in the series of 2200- 2500 Kcal per day for singleton pregnancy.

In case of twins or triplet Pregnancy, an extra 300 Kcal per day for each fetus.

Pregnancy cravings prevail- Avoid Fried food and aerated soft drinks; choose fresh fruits & & fruit juices without preservatives.

BABY NUTRITION: The foetus obtains its nutrition from the Amniotic fluid. To maintain maximum fluid and electrolyte balance, you need: 2-2.5 litres of water consumption daily; Coconut water and so on, as suggested by your Doctor.

MORNING SICKNESS:.

Do's-- Small & & regular meals; Keep your room well ventilated for fresh air.
